Throughout these 40 years, Happy Baby has continually strived for innovation without compromising on safety, and without compromising on value. With this aim in mind we have designed products with creative features that make feeding, settling and soothing your baby easier. Many of our baby products are world firsts and have received multiple Australian and international awards - including Our Steam ‘n’ Go™ Pod & Soother, which is ideal for travelling and cleaning on the go; Gummy®, a unique teething gel applicator and teether in one, designed specifically for little mouths; and our trainer cup My First Cup™ which is spill proof and has the very softest spout about. Happy Baby also invented the glow in the dark baby soother over 20 years ago and our wonderful NiteGlo® baby soother is still helping Australian families get that little extra shut eye.

We are the first and only company to manufacture baby Soothers in Australia - BPA free & Phthalate free from the beginning, with all natural Latex baby teats. As a family owned and run company we pride ourselves on family values. We take safety very seriously and have always held an industry representative role to Standards Australia to assist with the development of safety standards and I remain on the Revision Committee at Standards Australia as a persistent commitment to safety. My father Newton Sanbrook (who founded the business) was instrumental in the development of the first Australian Safety Standard - AS2432 - Babies Dummies. As part of this commitment, and because we know that parents have concerns surrounding products that contain BPA, Happy Baby will now be offering a 100% BPA Free baby bottle range. All other Happy Baby products have always been BPA free & Phthalate Free.

Despite the lack of definitive scientific evidence proving links to health risks, growing concerns over the chemical’s perceived health implications has led to a consumer preference for BPA alternatives, such as glass. Happy Baby has maintained a glass baby bottle in its range for many years as it is, and always will be, a trusted product made from natural materials.

Happy Baby leads the way in providing consumers with an affordable, safe choice of baby products. Whilst the majority of our products have always been BPA Free, Happy Baby is now making the shift to 100% BPA Free baby Bottle Range, which will be available on shelves from July 2010. During this transition you may notice some of our packaging across our whole range will be changing to highlight the fact that our range is completely BPA free & Phthalate Free.

We understand this may cause some confusion in the market place where one Happy Baby product is labelled as “BPA Free” whilst the same Happy Baby product next to it is not. Rest assured, all of our baby soothers, baby gummys, baby teats, bowls, snack pots, cups, and glass baby bottles have always been completely BPA free and our packaging is simply being updated to reflect that.
